Thank You! And Next Steps

As of today, 5/27/26, Lehigh County has officially tallied all of the votes for this race, and I have received almost 2000 votes, praise the Lord, but my opponent has over 4100. To quote the Apostle Paul but out of context, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7). There is so much I could say, so let me put it together in two words: Thank You! Thank You to everyone who believes in Putting People First. Thank You to everyone who thinks that Data Centers have no place in Lehigh County and beyond. Thank You to everyone who wants our prices to come down, our schools to be equitably funded, and our Emergency Medical Services to be a regular budget line item instead of a bake sale special. Thank You to everyone who believes all of our rights should be protected, whether we are African American, Latino, women, men, gay, straight, poor, middle class, next to South Mountain or along the Lehigh River. To everyone I've met, in Slatington, Emerald, Slatedale, Germansville, New Tripoli, Lynnport, Wanamakers, New Smithville, Breinigsville, Alburtis, Lower Macungie, Macungie, Emmaus, Wescosville, East Texas, Allentown and elsewhere, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! It has been a great privilege and honor to run this race for you, to try to serve you through serving in the PA House for the 187th District. Thank you, everyone, for the opportunity...and, thank you so much to all of the almost 2,000 people who voted for me!! You caught the vision, you believed in the mission, and you put your vote where your heart is, and that is very much appreciated.
And that takes me to "Next Steps." PA State Senator Katie Muth (Democrat - 44th District, Berks/Chester/Montgomery Counties) is sponsoring a legislative push to create a three-year moratorium on hyperscale Data Center construction so that impact studies can be done. While this is not a comprehensive and outright ban, the proposed moratorium certainly gives enough time so that everyone can find out the major environmental, physical, and psychological damage hyperscale Data Centers will do to us, our homes and our lives, which is why they need to be stopped. As such this proposed Bill is something that I will wholeheartedly support, and encourage you to do the same; and I will do everything I can to help get it passed into law. How can I do this, and how can you support it? By calling and visiting our current and regional State Senators and Representatives, as well as our local clergy, business, and community leaders, whoever they may be, with whichever party they may belong to, and discussing with them our concerns regarding the catastrophic consequences which will come our way if these massive projects are allowed to proceed without prior review and thorough vetting. I, for one, am convinced that once this review and vetting happens, people will realize how destructive these Data Centers will be, and will stop them from ever being built in our communities and state. Why? Because it is still, always and forever, about Putting People First. Onwards with the work!
P.S. If you should ever want to get in touch with me, please do so through the Contact section of this website, which will be live through December of this year. Thank you, and God bless!
