Protect Our Environment

Blue Mountain and the Appalachian Trail to the north and South Mountain to the south; the Lehigh River to the northeast; criss-crossed by the Jordan, Kistler, Little Lehigh, Ontelaunee, Swabia and Trout Creeks; and crowned with Leaser Lake, open farmland and small woods.  These are more than just names and places - these are the lifeblood of our communities in the PA 187th House District.  They nurture and sustain us, provide fishing, boating, hunting, hiking and other recreational outlets, and inspire us with their wonder.  And they are under constant threat from the proposed development of massive Data Centers.  Our water and environmental rights - the rights of we, the people - are under attack.  Speaking as an avid outdoorsman, a former whitewater rafting guide on the Lehigh River for almost 25 years, I will do everything possible to protect and preserve our waterways, watersheds, and natural environments for ourselves, as well as our boating, fishing, hiking and hunting rights, always putting Pennsylvanians first.

Love is creative and redemptive. Love builds up and unites; hate tears down and destroys. Physical force can repress, restrain, coerce, destroy, but it cannot create and organize anything permanent; only love can do that. Yes, love — which means understanding, creative and redemptive goodwill, even for one’s enemies — is the solution...
