Provide an Excellent Education
Pennsylvania unfairly funds its PK-12 school districts. Here's how this PK-12 teacher, an East Penn School District graduate now in his 13th year of being in the classroom, would correct that: take the total number of PK-12 students in public and charter schools - about 1,669,000 - and the total amount of school funding - $18,107,615,000 in 2025 - and divide the total amount by the number of students, and distribute the result - $10,849.38 per student - to all public school districts. This would actually be an increase of $3000 per student per year! Then, build partnerships and fund enrichment programs, such as the PA Governor's Schools for the Arts, and continue helping out by making Community College FREE for all Pennsylvania students. Whether your school district is Northwestern or Northern Lehigh, Parkland or East Penn, it's past time to help make Pennsylvania students - the future of our Commonwealth - the best of the best.
